Cat is wearing a strapless white Grecian styled toga dress. If she weren't stunning, it'd look like a white sheet wrapped around her body. She also has on amazing chandelier earrings. It looks like she has on clear and silver strappy heels, but it's hard to tell.
Show opened with Brand New Day / The Wiz (Top 20 Group Routine) choreographed by Tyce Diorio. I loved this number for its production feel and great costumes. They changed the blocking and focused on the Top 4 in the center. They weren't originally all in the center the first time around. The ending was great because instead of everyone getting into the frame for the last pose, only the Top 4 dancers are standing in it and the rest of the dancers are surrounding them. BTW, my BFF had to explain to me that Tyce's LAST name has a cookie in it...OREO. That's a big DUH to me.
*Correction from last night's post...there are 3500 people in the Kodak Theater, not 3000 as previously stated.
When Cat calls out each of the Top 4 finalists' names, Jeanine got the most cheers, followed by Brandon.
Cat reports there were 21.6 million votes received for the finalists.
The winner receives:
The rest of the choreographers are seated in the theater.
I can't end this season without one more commentary about Mary's wardrobe. She has on a very simple black strapless evening gown. That's not the problem. She has added with it a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) diamond necklace that is all flowers. It goes from her collar bones to over the front of the dress. That alone would have been fine, but not for Mary. She then had to add the matching HUGE dangling earrings AND a matching flower ring that is about 2 inches in diameter. I guess no one has taught Mary that less is more.

Montage of Season 5 Review from the city auditions, to Vegas, to Top 20 announcement, to the show.
---------------------------------------------------------------
I have summarized the list, but they were performed throughout the show
Judges' Favorite Routines are performed:
It seemed obvious they were REALLY pushing Brandon & Jeanine because they had the most "favorites".
Gross watching Jason kiss both girls again. (Heard a rumor he's dating Jeanine in real life...that kiss looked like it, but made the Caitlin kiss uncomfortable to watch)
Was so happy to see Kupono dance again in a duo, not just the group routines! I think that Addiction piece may be my favorite of the season. I loved Kupono & Kayla as a couple.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Montage of Top 4 getting dressed up and going to the first screening of FAME starring Kherrington Payne (S4). Fame comes out Sept. 25. Debbie Allen is also in the movie. Choreographed by Marguerite Derricks. I worked with her back in 1989...she didn't really like me LOL.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Special Guest Performance -
4TH PLACE = KAYLA
I don't feel bad for her because she will be the busiest working dancer in Hollywood, Broadway, & the world. She is a choreographer's dream.
---------------------------------------------------------------
3RD PLACE = EVAN
Oh THANK GOODNESS he didn't win. I know that's mean, but if he had won, I would have been pissed.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Special Guest Performance -
Special Group Routine Performance -
2ND PLACE = BRANDON
In SYTYCD history, the true winners to me have been runner ups. He is welcomed into good company with Travis Wall & Danny Tidwell.
------------------------------------------------------------
WINNER = JEANINE
Well, the crowd erupts, she cries, she's gracious and funny and for a TV show, she's the perfect winner. For me, well, you know how I feel about it so I'll stop it right there.
---------------------------------------------------------------
So that's it folks. Another season down. We don't even get much time to breathe or decompress before it starts all over again for SYTYCD S6 starting Sept. 9th.
There will be a SYTYCD special on Sept 2nd highlighting the past 5 seasons.
Until then...keep on dancing!

Well you called that one! Jeanine is good but I agree that Brandon is the real winner.
You should consider writing for EW or Rolling Stone. I'm serious!
I suspect cufflinks are a new big thing in mens fashion. There is actually no other accessory a person can wear that can bring such a lot to his appearance without taking away from his class and style. Jewellery, wild clothing styles, and other flashy trends are good, but not one of them have the class that cufflinks provide. Most men just don't understand how much it can enhance their appearance.
Thank you for a great post
Clearly, the financial mood is beginning to show signs of recovery and this is very much obvious within the private lending sector. I enjoyed this article and can draw some differentiations with this in terms of the growth in payday loan companies for example. I believe that in possibly 12 months we will see a global growth output which will instill much needed confidence in the financial sector.
Excellent job.
Can you jailbreak the new iphone 4g yet?
Good post, thanks
