How many tree rings do you have?

1. I have only found a few gray hairs
2. I found the love of my life
3. I do not have that many enemies (that I know of)
4. I have experienced life in two different states
5. I have traveled overseas (but am not done traveling yet)
6. I have goals and know where I want to be in the next 5-years
7. I have embraced my inner geek and make no apologies for it
8. I regard my past as work experience.  I have moved on, but the OJT was invaluable.
9. Music and dance make my life feel more connected to my soul
10. I have a best friend who can really see me and still accepts me
11. I have also learned that it does no one any good to keep relationships that are toxic
12. I choose to believe what I believe, but will try to remain open to opposition
13. I am grateful for my successes and hope I never have to apologize for them
14. I no longer feel the need to have an uber-flashy vehicle to prove my status
15. I am very friendly and like people, just as long as I also have time to myself to recharge
16. Looking back, my childhood interactions in Hollywood were quite exceptional
17. There are black and white dots. I need to surround myself with like ideological dots.
18. I cannot wait until the day we become a larger family, how ever it happens
19. I can find happiness wherever I live, but being close to family/friends is important
20. I do not regret periods of my life that I chose the wrong path.
21. I need to do things that frighten me, but it may take some prodding
22. Communicating is not about the fight or need to win, but about the understanding
23. Everyone must learn to fight fair because fair means different things to each person
24. I like to think I have a good pulse on fashion and style
25. It took me more than half my life to embrace my Japanese heritage
26. I have a hard time exercising when I'm happy.  It's more about self punishment.
27. Like SATC's Charlotte, when you get everything you wanted, when will the bad come?
28. I am probably more pessimistic than I seem.  I like being pleasantly surprised.
29. Like many women, a hot pair of shoes makes me feel more confident
30. I hope I never get too old to enjoy the bands I like live
31. I am a creature of habit with certain dishes, but do like trying new foods
32. I spend a lot of time online.  I enjoy my cyber-world and love my cyber-friends.

34. I have so many years left that this is just the beginning.  It's no time to give up just yet!

I am proud of all my rings and can't wait to get more. They are a badge of honor to show that I have made it this far.  It's true I am vain enough to be afraid that I will look older than I feel, but I can't wait to absorb all those experiences from my lost youth, my labyrinth young adulthood, the early married years, the family, the middle ages, the autumn of life, and finally the December.

It'll all be worth it to tell the tale of me.
