This video came out yesterday and while it's been blogged to death already, I wanted to have it on record on mine as well.
I am by no means a Pop music fanatic; however, I do like many of Lady Gaga's songs. I really did steer clear of her for a long time because I had assumed she was just another one-hit wonder. But time went on, the music got catchier, and the outfits more ridiculously fabulous. I finally broke down when she released a double disc version of The Fame Monster which also included The Fame.
Now, I don't listen to it often and don't like every song, but there are some good ones included. This video song is NOT one of my favorites, but I love the video none-the-less.
Why? Because Lady Gaga is not afraid to take a risk and own her personality creation. In that ownership is a confidence and outlandishness. Pop music should be crazy and "out there" or else it'd be boring. Lady Gaga is pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable, much like a Madonna of the past. I am happy she got Beyonce in her song/video to play along. This only makes Beyonce seem cooler than she is.
I have heard this will be a trilogy short film video. Enjoy the first part...

I came across your blog, i think your blog is awsome, keep us posting.
Beyonce is so talented! I am from Houston too! Nice to see a woman from my home town make it to the top!
